The Merchant is an NPC you can find during your runs in Aethermancer. They are always accompanied by an unknown monster carrying a chest in its back.
They appear both in the main areas and in Rest Site. You can buy artifacts, mementos, equipments and even a bonus exp of them using the gold you have collected during your run.

- Before appearing in the Closed Alpha, the Merchant was shown in a Youtube Shorts posted by moi rai.
- In a twitter post, the Merchant was called Cultist Merchant.
