Monster Mythology Monday

Monster Mythology Monday was a weekly showcase that started on January 23rd, 2023, and ran for six consecutive weeks. Each Monday, it featured a creature from various cultures, along with a brief description of the associated myths and folklore. These showcases served as teasers for the monsters available in the game, which was yet to be revealed at the time.

Riddles

From the third week onward, a riddle was also given, and solving it revealed a secret code, leading to the game's countdown.

1st Riddle

The first riddle was the 'Sphinx's Riddle' on January 30th, 2023.

Solution: All the letters in the word "hints" can be found in the word "sphinx" except for the letter 't', hence the "I don't belong here". Therefore, 't' (Tea) is the key.

2nd Riddle

The second riddle was the 'Orthurs' Riddle' on February 6th, 2023.

Solution: The given words are the first three monsters that were revealed during the Monster Mythology Monday: MANDRAKE, WENDIGO and SPHINX. The choices given are GOOD, SOON, MOON and WOOD. Wolves howl at the moon, which is the bottom left choice.

3rd Riddle

The third riddle was the 'Who's riddle is this?' on February 13th, 2023.

The fourth riddle was the 'Naga's Riddle' on February 20th, 2023

Solution: From top to bottom, left to right, the correct pieces are the first, second, fifth, seventh, and ninth.

Secret 5th Riddle

When solving a riddle, a popup appears with the words "CORRECT!" followed by a string of text. By solving all four riddles and combining these texts, you get '/1countdown-starts.html'. Inserting this at the end of the website URL directs you to a countdown page set for March 9th, 2023, 3:30 PM UTC, revealing the game. As the countdown has already concluded, the page now displays the game trailer.
