Trivia
- Kullervo was first revealed on May 5th, 2023, as part of the third day of Monster Reveal Week, which was preceded by Dark Elder and Gargoyle, and followed by Star Spawn.
- This makes Kullervo as the 14th officially revealed Monster.
Origin
Kullervo takes inspiration from the story of Kullervo, a character from Finnish mythology depicted in the "Kalevala" poem. According to the poem, Kullervo possessed a magical sword, which was used to slay his enemies in the pursuit of revenge, and ultimately, to end his own life.
Kullervo is also based on a wolverine, which was decided by one of the dev team's artist.
