Trivia

  • Nosferatu was one of the thirteen monsters available in the Closed Alpha, added on September 13th, 2024, along with Gargoyle and the Forbidden Fortress area. The other monsters included Cherufe, Domovoy, Jotunn, Mandragora, Ooze, Orthrus, Star Spawn, Tatzelwurm, Warden, Wolpertinger, and Wyrmling.
  • Nosferatu was first officially revealed on October 31st, 2023, which was during Halloween.
    • This makes Nosferatu as the 18th officially announced Monster.
    • Nosferatu was teased in the eighth Devlog a few hours before its reveal, alongside Shambler. They were briefly described in the third story, and their silhouettes can also be seen in the last darkened image.

Origin

Nosferatu draws inspiration from the film of the same name, and the term itself may serve as a synonym for the word vampire or refer to a specific type of vampire. Its design is based on the typical portrayal of vampires, being able to shapeshift into bats.
